Johanna Wald

Prior to retiring in 2015, Johanna Wald was an attorney with the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) for more than 40 years, where she was one of the nation's leading advocates for protection and improvement management of federal public lands. Since retiring, she has been involved in a variety of activities, including serving on the San Francisco Commission on the Environment and as the Board Chair of a music non-profit as well as political activities. She has managed postcard campaigns for Flip the 14 and now Flip the West since 2018.
