Shelby Dewberry

Shelby’s passion for advocacy and public service has led her to this role at Activate America. Previously, Shelby worked as a legislative coordinator at the California Access Coalition where she advocated for better access to mental health care and medication. Shelby attended graduate school at Pepperdine University, where she earned a Master of Public Policy specializing in local policy and applied economics. While a graduate student, Shelby managed a local city council campaign, and explored her interested in environmental policy and housing policy while she interned at CalEPA and for Senator Robert Hertzberg. She also holds a B.S. in Public Relations from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.
