John Bower

John is a Phoenix-based political professional with nearly a decade of experience organizing electoral campaigns, labor organizing, and civic engagement in the state of Arizona. He has organized for national organizations like the DCCC, the AFL-CIO, and AFSCME, and he has also led electoral campaigns at all levels of government and several statewide ballot initiatives.

Throughout his career, John has built a reputation for translating grassroots energy into tangible political power and has a strong passion for mentoring new volunteers and staff to “move their piece of the needle” each cycle. He is committed to building the multiracial, working-class coalitions necessary to win lasting progressive change in Arizona and beyond. He finds inspiration in empowering working-class people to organize and shift power away from corporations and the wealthy elite.
