Ladan Ibrahim

Ladan Ibrahim is an accomplished political strategist and program leader with deep experience driving community engagement, electoral organizing, and policy advocacy. Over the past decade, she has led impactful campaigns across the Midwest, mobilizing thousands of voters, training grassroots leaders, and advancing equity-focused initiatives in some of the country’s most competitive political environments.

Ladan has worked with organizations such as the Empower Project, the Ohio Democratic Party, and the Committee to Protect Health Care, where she built and managed field programs, developed digital outreach strategies, and forged lasting coalitions. She is especially proud of launching Columbus’s first Somali-American GOTV campaign and mentoring hundreds of volunteers to take on leadership roles in their communities.

As a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer who served in Myanmar, Ladan brings a global perspective and a deep commitment to social change. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from The Ohio State University and continues to work at the intersection of organizing, equity, and democratic participation.

Outside of organizing, you can usually find Ladan hunting for rare neo-soul vinyl at local record shops, DIY-ing herbal tea blends for “vibe maintenance,” or in a Lagree Pilates studio.
