Amina Kamau
Amina Kamau is a political professional whose campaign journey has revealed that advocacy is her calling. With hands-on experience across local, state, and national campaigns, she has become a forward-thinking, adaptable, analytical, and creative professional. Amina has a proven track record of success in grassroots organizing and management, including successfully registering thousands of voters in Florida, notably exceeding projected goals and heading a precinct with the highest voter turnout in the state while organizing a university campus in 2016. She has extensive experience managing staff and volunteers, having recruited and managed large canvassing teams responsible for significant field outreach, trained and coordinated volunteer teams for various initiatives and always whistling while she works. Her experience includes administering payroll and staff management systems, developing coaching sessions and peer mentorship cultures, and mentoring junior campaign staff. Amina has worked on presidential campaigns, unionization campaigns, and school board races. Amina is a Certified Victims Advocate, artist, activist and abolitionist. She is an excellent communicator, a natural networker, and is methodical and solutions-oriented movement leader.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Amina is a songstress, a ballerina of 15 years, and an amateur mermaid.
Amina is the Multiplier Project Organizer for Pennsylvania’s 7th, 8th, and 10th Congressional Districts, as well as New York’s 17th.
